Five AI analyses — live as the witness speaks, plus the questions to ask before you go off the record

+

Medical Accuracy

Scores every clinical claim. Flags inaccuracies with citations and severity. Correctly recognizes specialty terminology from cardiology, orthopedic, OB/GYN, neuro, ER, and more.

§

Daubert Vulnerability

Identifies methodology gaps, evidence disclaimers, non-responsiveness, and qualification mismatches. HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW severity. Attorneys report it catches issues juniors miss.

Prior Testimony

Upload 50+ pages of prior depositions. The tool surfaces inconsistencies with exact quotes from both sides — in real time, before you have to move on to the next question.

?

Cross-Exam Questions

Generates ready-to-read impeachment, foundation, contradiction, scope, and bias questions based on the exact words the witness just said. No placeholders. Read verbatim.

End-of-Deposition Follow-ups

Before you go off the record, pick Plaintiff or Defense and get 8–15 verbatim follow-up questions still worth asking this witness to advance your side — admissions not yet locked down, hedges to commit, contradictions to expose, foundation gaps. Each grounded in the live transcript, with a goal and the testimony it builds on.

Real output from a cardiothoracic surgeon deposition

(Miller & Zois publicly available depo — we analyzed last night)

Witness said: "Now like I said, we have a team effort. A surgeon and cardiologist perform that procedure, and that's relatively common for that to happen."
§ Daubert Vulnerability

HighNo methodology, data, or standards cited to support "relatively common"

HighDisclaims evidence access ("I don't have the screen") while testifying about prevalence

MediumRedirects rather than answers — evasion pattern

? Cross-Exam Question (ready to read)

[foundation] When you said this team approach is "relatively common," what specific data, literature, or statistical analysis supports that frequency determination?

[impeachment] Your question was different — did YOU or did YOU NOT participate in Mr. X's procedure?

Frequently asked

Does the AI replace the court reporter?

No. The certified transcript from your court reporter is still the legal record. Courtroom AI is a working-notes layer on top — real-time analysis as the depo happens. You still get your certified transcript afterward.

How do you capture audio from the deposition?

Three options: (1) Zoom/Teams recording fed to your laptop's mic input, (2) iPhone as a mic near the deposing room, (3) BlackHole virtual audio device on Mac for direct system audio routing. We provide a setup script for Mac users (bin/courtroom-setup.sh).

What medical specialties does it handle?

Cardiology, orthopedic, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, neurology, general surgery, oncology, pulmonology, and internal medicine — each with its own keyword boost pack for Deepgram Nova-2 Medical. Nursing home and product liability coming in Week 2 of launch.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes — two ways. (1) Use code COURTROOM50 for 50% off the first 3 months if you're one of the first 10 pilot firms. (2) Book a 15-min demo with John Mahoney and we'll run your prior deposition through the tool during the call. Email [email protected].

HIPAA-compliant?

Yes. Full BAA available. Deepgram + Anthropic (Claude) are both BAA-signed providers. Transcripts are encrypted at rest in your account and automatically purge after the retention period on your tier.

What happens if I go over my included hours?

Overage billing kicks in automatically (no interruption to your analysis). Essentials is $15/hour overage, Pro is $10/hour. You'll get an email alert at 80% of included hours and again at 100%. The dashboard shows live usage.
