No. We accept actively-practicing clinicians, retired clinicians, and academics. Physicians need current specialty board certification. Other categories need the standard credential for their field — LNCC for LNCs, CLCP for life-care planners, ABPP for neuropsychologists, PE for engineers, etc.
Weekly via direct deposit. Rates are set per category and per case complexity — physicians typically $400–$1,500/hr, LNCs $125–$450/hr, neuropsychologists $300–$750/hr. Final rate is negotiated case-by-case with the retaining firm. We do not take a cut of your hourly.
Workspace partitioning. You see only the cases offered to you, and you decline any case that conflicts with your existing clients, current employer, or prior involvement. The platform tracks your declines so the same conflicting matter is never re-offered. Standard expert-witness conflict-clearance practice.
No. Most cases are paper-review only — you produce a written opinion. Testifying (deposition or trial) is optional and pays at the higher band when you do.
Many states accept out-of-state experts for med-mal cases. We handle the venue check before matching you to a case so you don't waste time on a matter you can't testify in. Some jurisdictions (Texas, Florida, others) have specific in-state or active-practice requirements — the platform flags these per-case.
