Imaging Report Timeline and Missed-Finding Comparison

For attorneys and legal nurse consultants reviewing a delayed-diagnosis, missed-finding or failure-to-follow-up question. Paste the radiology, pathology, echocardiogram or nuclear reports (as many as fit in 50,000 characters; keep each report's header and impression). The tool separates the studies, builds a dated timeline, tracks each named finding from the first report where it appears to every later mention, lists every recommendation the reports themselves made and whether a later pasted report shows it was done, and flags discrepancies such as a finding in the body that never reached the impression, a preliminary read that changed on the final, or a study that did not address the ordering question. It does not decide whether anything was missed in the legal sense; that is for your radiology expert.

How to use the result

Start with the "recommendations without documented follow-up" box; a follow-up study that the report recommended and the pasted record does not show is the most common thread in delayed-diagnosis claims, but "unknown" only means no later report was pasted, so pull the rest of the imaging history before drawing anything from it. Read the progression table next: a finding that moves from "incidental" to the impression of a later study, or that is described differently between two reads, is where the radiology expert will spend their time. Each study card shows what the report said and what it recommended in the report's own words; check every quote against the page before it goes in a chronology or memo.
